SMRPCC presents a special online session as part of our Trending Sessions.

Fiona Walsh, Calvary Healthcare Bethlehem, will talk about the link between poor mouthcare and aspiration pneumonia in our palliative clients.

Fiona is a Senior Speech Pathologist with over 15 years clinical experience. She has been working in Calvary Healthcare Bethlehem, in the State-wide Progressive Neurological Diseases Service since 2012, and is passionate about partnering with her patients to make sure they continue to experience quality of life despite a diagnosis of a progressive condition. She has extensive expertise in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) as well as complex dysphagia and secretion management.
