PEPA Mentoring Workshop | Clinical Mentorship for a PEPA placement

This workshop is designed for palliative care health professionals who wish to mentor, and share their palliative care knowledge with others, and further develop their mentoring skills. Following the workshop, participants should be able to identify principles for culturally safe, supportive mentoring, in the context of palliative care.

Mentoring is defined as a relationship between an experienced and a less experienced person in which the mentor provides guidance, advice, support and feedback to the mentee to support their future experience and growth.

Target Audience: Palliative care professionals working in specialist palliative care services

Facilitator: Kate Holmes – Kate has been working in palliative care for 26 years in both the UK and Australia. Her roles include clinical and education work in the voluntary sector and the NHS in the UK and the public and private sectors in metropolitan Melbourne.
