Too young for residential care? Online information session with Ability First | SMRPCC Trending Session

February 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Ability First Australia’s Younger People in Residential Aged Care System Coordinator Program (YPIRAC) is a nationally funded program. The Program is designed to reduce the number of younger people at risk of entering and living in residential aged care. It aims to give younger people greater choice and control over where they live and what supports they need to either transition out of, or avoid entering, residential aged care.

Steve Lowe from Ability First will talk about accessing support and accommodation options for younger people aged under 65 who are palliated with significant care needs:

  • Navigating pathways/solutions for people under 65
  • Working together with the end in mind
