Sofia is a Colombian-Australian researcher based in Switzerland, where she is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of Bern, and Senior Research Advisor for the medical masters program at the University of Fribourg. Her research focuses on the emotional and relational dimensions of end-of-life care, including clinician-patient communication, and clinician wellbeing.
