Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (MATOD): Virtual Workshop Series | Session 1

Event Overview

The opioid crisis in Australia continues to grow, with increasing rates of dependence, overdose and harm. There is an urgent need for skilled prescribers to deliver safe, evidence-based treatment.

This training offers a pathway to MATOD (Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence) accreditation and supports practitioners to build confidence in opioid dependence care.

Virtual Workshop Dates

  • Session 1: Thursday, 24th July | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Session 2: Thursday, 7th August | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Session 3: Thursday, 21st August | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

To successfully complete the program, attendance at all three sessions is required.
