To celebrate International Nurses’ Day, Sunday May 12th, Grampians Regional Palliative Care Team presents a ‘History of Palliative Care Nursing’.

Presented by Kate Swetenham – President of the PCNA & Director of Nursing for End of Life Care at SA Health.

This session will be informative and give an insight into the timeline of Palliative Care Nursing. Kate will speak about the origins of Palliative Care, the modern hospice movement and how palliative care gained recognition and set standards for care. A celebration of the value of our work as palliative care nurses.
