Communication in Perinatal Palliative Care
March 28 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
FreeWhen expectant or new parents are navigating the news that their child’s life may not be a long one, words matter. Join us as we discuss communication in the complex world of perinatal palliative care.
Staff in maternity and neonatal care will leave the session with practical tips on communication with families around prognosis and the death of their infant, as well as better knowledge of the health and community services that can support health staff and families.
Speakers:

- Dr Freya Nicholas – Paediatric Palliative Care Specialist and General Paediatrician, Queensland Paediatric Palliative Care Service.
