caring@home | Education for domiciliary nurses

caring@home is providing 1-hour education sessions to upskill domiciliary nurses to deliver quality palliative care and symptom control for patients at end-of-life and provide support for their families.

Topics include:

• A framework to guide care in the last 12 months of life.
• How to empower families and carers to support people at home at end-of-life, including providing practical care, managing breakthrough symptoms and administering subcutaneous medicines.
• How caring@home resources support a standardised, best-practice and evidence-based approach to caring for people and their families at home.
