This workshop is for General Practitioners and practice nurses based in Victoria (Australia) who care for people with a life-limiting illness.
Join this online interactive education session, which utilises group discussion and case studies to provide a greater understanding of symptom management at the end of life.
Facilitator: Dr Chris Grossman MBBS, B.Med Sci, FRACGP, FAChPM. Palliative Care Lead Researcher.
Dr Grossman is a Fellow of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a General Practitioner and lead palliative researcher at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB), Victoria. Chris is a passionate advocate for education and research in Palliative Care. His main research focuses to date have been on providing evidence-based treatments for patients suffering existential issues and advocating for equal care for minority health groups.

To maximise learning PEPA offers 6 online GP learning modules. The modules have been developed by the Palliative Care Education and Training Collaborative and can be accessed here.
PEPA is an accredited educator with RACGP (Workshops are eligible for Category 2 CPD points).
