Pain Management in Palliative Care

Online session for General Practitioners based in Victoria (Australia) who care for people with a life-limiting illness. GP Practice Nurses are also welcome to attend.

This PEPA workshop will be facilitated by Dr Fiona Runacres, a palliative care specialist at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem and Monash Health. Fiona works in community palliative care, inpatient palliative care and outpatient clinic settings. Her clinical interests include specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting non-malignant disease, including renal supportive care and neuropalliative care.

Workshop Pre-requisite:

To maximise learning PEPA offers 6 online GP learning modules. These modules have been developed by palliative care experts and reviewed by clinicians with extensive palliative care experience. They can be accessed by setting up an account at the PEPA Palliative Care Education and Training Collaborative: https://palliativecareeducation.com.au/login/index.php

PEPA is an accredited educator with RACGP. Workshops are eligible for Category 2 CPD points
